It is for real!

October 31, 2007: Doctor's Office

Being first time parents, we didn't really know how reliable those home tests were so we scheduled a doctor's visit. We got there early for our appointment. It seemed like we waited forever. We kept seeing all these pregnant people wondering- am I going to be that big, are we really pregnant? FINALLY, we got called back into the a room. Soon, a nurse came in with a big smile and said the magic words "Congratulations- your pregnant!" Dan and I started grinning from ear to ear. We couldn't believe it. We found out that our baby would be due on June 25, 2008. The nurse just laughed at our giddiness. We were so overwhelmed we didn't even know what questions to ask. We convinced her to give us a copy of What to Expect When You Are Expecting, you aren't supposed to get it until your 12 week appointment. We left there with a book, vitamin prescription, and a growing baby!
