Snow Days!

Well, I am sure that many of you know that we have received a lot of snow lately.  In fact, this week we got somewhere between 18 and 24 inches of snow.  I didn't even know that was possible down here in the South!  We've had many fun days inside trying to occupy both boys.  Simon loves puzzles right now.  He just amazes me with the puzzles he is able to do .  The other day he put together a 63 piece puzzle with only a little help from me.  Amazing!
Simon loves to eat snow.  We made snow ice cream for the first time this snow storm.  It was a huge hit!
Simon with his 63 piece puzzle that he did!
Play Dough is a great snow day activity!
Oliver loves to just sit and watch Simon.
Building a snowman.  Simon put golf clubs for the snow man's arms.  I didn't get a picture of the final snowman.

Oliver is already 5 months old!
Here are some more pictures of the snow.  I never thought I'd see this much snow in Arkansas!

London 2011

Yes, I know that the Olympics are in London 2012- but we went anyways.  We went to Beijing in 2007 before the 2008 Olympics- maybe we've started a trend.  :)

Dan and I went to London a couple of weeks ago for my 3rd cousin (took awhile to figure out the relation...) Kathryn marry Sam.  It was an absolutely beautiful wedding.  We loved being able to take part in the day.  Kathryn was so welcoming and made us feel so special.  We got to spend a lot of time with Graham and Gail as well.  It was wonderful to see my distant family!

After the wedding festivities were over, Dan and I headed to London to sight see.  Dan really wanted to see a castle- so we went to several.  We had so much fun walking through London, seeing a show, hitting up the pubs, and just spending time together.

My parents were wonderful and babysat the boys for us while we were gone.  It was really tough to be away- but I don't think the boys even missed us.  They had so much fun seeing their family!

Here are some pictures:
Beautiful Bride and Groom!  It was cold for them!
 Mary- Kathryn and Graham's Grandma...my Grandma's Cousin
South Lodge Hotel where the reception was- absolutely beautiful!

Any Readers out there? and Oliver 3 months

So, I was good about updating this once a week before going back to work.  I am going to try to continue to update- but really- is anyone even reading this???  If you are- let me know!  :)

Here are some pictures that we had taken for Oliver's 3 months.  I just love the blue sweater vest that my mom made him.  It is so cute and so special!

I love this one- you know he is thinking- "aw man, I got my mom's big feet!"
 Is Santa over there?
Bummer- Christmas is over!

Welcome 2011!  I am so excited for the New Year.  It will be hard to top 2010!

We celebrated with Simon at 8:30.  He got special juice that he got to take on the new carpet.  Wahoo- what a celebration!
